Droom jij van een perfect passende trui zonder gedoe met losse panden aan elkaar naaien? In deze vierdelige cursus gaan we de populaire Ivy Sweater van Petite Knit breien.
De Ivy Sweater is een tijdloze klassieker met een prachtige en verfijnde constructie.
Tijdens de lessen leer je stap voor stap hoe je deze trui naadloos van boven naar beneden breit op een rondbreinaald. Ook leer je om een Engelstalig breipatroon te gebruiken. Tussen de lessen door brei je thuis verder aan je trui.
Voor koffie, thee en lekkers tijdens deze cursus wordt gezorgd.

Wat leer je in 4 lessen?
• Les 1: We breien een proeflap, bespreken maat en stekenverhouding en zetten de steken voor hals op.
• Les 2: We vormen de schouders en starten met het karakteristieke patroon.
• Les 3: We splitsen het werk voor de mouwen en breien door aan het lijf, waarbij we de juiste pasvorm checken door te passen.
• Les 4: De mouwen en afwerking. We pakken de steken op en breien de mouwen rond naar beneden. We bespreken de details, het elastisch afkanten en de finishing touch voor een professioneel resultaat.

Welke garens kies je?
Voor deze cursus is het belangrijk om onderstaande materialen vooraf aan te schaffen. Bestel deze online bij Trollenwol (let op: kies dan voor afhalen in winkel tijdens het betaalproces) of kom naar de stenen winkel om je garen te kiezen. Doe dit ruim van tevoren!
Wij zorgen er dan voor dat je pakket inclusief het patroon voor je klaar staat zodat je de eerste les meteen kunt beginnen.

Hoeveel heb je nodig?
Meet jezelf rondom het breedste deel van je bovenlijf. De trui is ontworpen met ongeveer 12 cm extra ruimte.
In het schema hieronder zie je hoeveel strengen je ongeveer nodig zult hebben voor jouw maat.

Zelf meebrengen of ter plekke aanschaffen :

Sokkennaaldensetje (5 breinaalden zonder knop) van 5 mm dik en 20 cm lang.

Knit your own Ivy Sweater!

Do you dream of a perfectly fitting sweater without the hassle of sewing separate panels together? In this four-part course, we will knit the popular Ivy Sweater by Petite Knit.

The Ivy Sweater is a timeless classic with a beautiful and refined construction.
During the lessons, you will learn step-by-step how to knit this sweater seamlessly from top to bottom on circular needles. You will also learn how to use an English knitting pattern. Between lessons, you will continue knitting your sweater at home.

Coffee, tea, and treats will be provided during this course.

What will you learn in 4 lessons?

• Lesson 1: We knit a swatch, discuss size and gauge, and cast on the stitches for the neckline.

• Lesson 2: We shape the shoulders and start with the characteristic pattern.

• Lesson 3: We split the work for the sleeves and continue knitting the body, checking the correct fit by trying it on.

• Lesson 4: The sleeves and finishing. We pick up the stitches and knit the sleeves down in the round. We discuss the details, elastic bind-off, and the finishing touches for a professional result.

Which yarns should you choose?

For this course, it is important to purchase the materials listed below in advance. Order these online at Trollenwol (please note: select 'pick up in store' during the checkout process) or visit the physical store to choose your yarn. Do this well in advance!

We will then ensure that your kit, including the pattern, is ready for you so that you can start the first lesson immediately.

You can choose from all yarns at Trollenwol with a yardage of 200 m/100 g.

How much do you need? Measure yourself around the widest part of your upper body. The sweater is designed with approximately 12 cm of extra room.

5 mm circular knitting needles: with cable lengths of 40 cm (for the neck), 60 cm, and 80 or 100 cm (for the body)
