Since the summmer I have started a wonderful job as dyer for a local wool label called: Schaapjeswol. It has been set up by Trollenwol, a yarn shop in Driebergen. So come and visit the shop to buy and try this beautiful local Dutch wool. Or have a look at the website.
I have therefor decided to not continue my shop as all I care and stand for I find in Schaapjeswol and my collaboration with Trollenwol.

Atelier Sarah Jane
Hi there,
The wool you find here is 100% pure wool of Dutch origin. The sheep are bred and reared in the Netherlands in the best conditions.
The main type of wool I use for dyeing is from the renowned Texelaar sheep from the northern Dutch island of Texel. The wool has a rustic look and texture yet feels soft to wear. Colourwork (fairisle) looks amazing with this yarn.
The wool is dyed naturally using plants, fruits and vegetables from my garden or using extracts. I am dedicated to respecting the environment through all the steps of the process.
The skeins do not have a lot number as shades may vary from batch to batch. This is the beauty and unique quality of naturally handdyed yarns.
I am a maker, I love the process of dyeing and am very excited to share my enthusiasm with the knitting/crochet community. I hope you will enjoy this product just as much as I do.
